  Join us on Saturday, October 10 for a fall hike along the gorge at Treman Park. The approximately 4.5 mile hike will include the Rim Trail and Gorge Trail, passing several impressive waterfalls. Note that there are some significant uphill/stair sections and muddy areas are possible.

  
  

  The hike will begin promptly at 10:30, so please arrive by 10:15 to check in. We will meet in the main parking lot just past the Park Office (see map below). There is an entrance fee for the park.

  Onondaga Ski Club October Luncheon

  • We’re returning to a luncheon favorite on Wednesday, October 14 at 12:30. 
  • We'll be dining at Olive Garden at 3147 Erie Blvd E in Syracuse. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can be ready to order at 12:30.
  • Olive Garden has delicious food, great service and you can even take home dinner for a small extra charge.
  • Remember there is another Olive Garden so be sure to check the address.
  • As always please register so the restaurant can set up for us. For late reservations or cancellations please text Anne at 315-427-8326 and leave your name and message.
  • We look forward to seeing everyone before the holiday season and saying goodbye to our snowbirds.

• Adopt-a-Highway

  This Fall‘s Adopt-A-Highway is Saturday, October 17
  

  • We’ll meet in the parking lot on the west side of the Tully Burger King and start picking trash about 9:30. We clean Rt I-81 around the Tully exit and south for about 2 miles.
  • Work boots and gloves are recommended as the grass may be wet.
    
  • We'll provide bump caps and safety vests for all volunteers. 
    
  • I will provide coffee and donuts before the event.  If the group is interested in having lunch afterwards, we can plan on going to Sweet Basil for pizza.

  The Fall 2026 Book Club will be held Thursday, November 5, 2026. We will be reading Family of Spies by Christine Kuehn.
  We'll meet at the Piano & Organ Center in N. Syracuse, NY (102 Lawrence Rd. E, N. Syracuse, NY 13212). Potluck dinner starts at 6 pm, book discussion starts at 6:45 pm. We'll be wrapped up by 8 pm.
