Adopt-a-Highway Rescheduled to October 24

Adopt A Highway scheduled for this Saturday, October 17, is canceled.
Saturday looks like a nasty day, with a wintry mix and windy conditions.  I know we are skiers and used to cold, snowy weather, but NYSDOT advises us not to schedule Adopt A Highway events when vehicles need to use windshield wipers for safety reasons.

I am available next Saturday, October 24th if anyone wants to join us then.  Meet at 9:30 at the Tully Burger King.  I'll bring all necessary supplies.

• We’ll meet in the parking lot on the west side of the Tully Burger King and start picking trash about 9:30. We clean Rt I-81 around the Tully exit and south for about 2 miles.
• Work boots and gloves are recommended as the grass may be wet.

• We'll provide bump caps and safety vests for all volunteers.

• I will provide coffee and donuts before the event.  If the group is interested in having lunch afterwards, we can plan on going to Sweet Basil for pizza.
• If you have questions, you can contact Peter Zeleznock  peter.zeleznock@gmail.com

Thanks for registering! See you there!
If you need to cancel your October 17 registration, go to the event on the calendar, click 'Already Registered' and follow the prompt to Cancel.
