Hike at Fellows Hill, Fabius

Fellows Hill Loop is a 3.5-mile hike within Morgan Hill State Forest. It is part of the Finger Lakes Trail system.

The trail begins near Spruce Pond and then heads into the forest where some selective clearing has occurred. The trail goes over Fellows Hill and then crosses over Herlihy Road. Just after this, you will pass by Baby Falls. After this point, there is about a mile left before arriving back at the trailhead.

Trail Conditions: There are tree roots and may be mud along the trail. Hiking boots and poles are recommended.

Directions to the trailhead: From Rte. 81 exit 14, take Rte. 80 East about 5 miles. Turn right on Herlihy Rd. Spruce Pond parking lot is about 2 miles ahead. The first mile is paved and the second mile is gravel- please drive slowly on the gravel road. Parking is limited in the lot, but there is plenty of room for overflow parking along the road. Please remember to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in.
