    This is a valuable video for anyone thinking of paddling or fishing early in the season. 

    I know someone who had on sweatpants and was not wraring his lifevest. He was fishing in a borrowed kayak.

    He fell in and the current swept away the kayak. Some guys saw him and grabbed a canoe to rescue him but he was gone underwater by the time they got to him.

    I know that we generally don't do whitewater kayaking, but I think this video link should be looked at by everybody who goes out in a kayak or canoe.  (I would add that anybody who goes downsteam in anything Class 2 or more should have a helmet on.)
